BioBlitz for the City Nature Challenge

  • Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook State Park (top parking lot near visitor center) (map)

Join the efforts to document biodiversity in Los Angeles as part of the City Nature Challenge! Learn how to be a careful observer, use iNaturalist, and meet some of the amazing plants and wildlife that call Baldwin Hills Parklands home.

We are offering two shifts, though participants are welcome to stay the whole time:

8am to10am - better chance of spotting birds

10am to 12pm - lizards and invertebrates should be on the move since it will be a little warmer

Please RSVP to receive detailed information about parking and meet-up location.
